Yes..you need to go to settings "register blutooth" then "remote"

Yes, just do what IrishGuy says and it will work instantly.

Thanks so much for the quick responses. I guess it would behoove me to NOT throw away packaging before I ensure I know how something works, huh?

Don't forget that if you have set up a network connection, you always have access to the manuals online.
