best way to set up this PS3 HT?

Thanks for the replies.

I'm still a student and am pretty flat broke after the TV and PS3. I splurged to get the 46" over the 40" which didn't help my cause much either

So, I'll have to hold off on upgrading the receiver and stick with optical for now. I was confused about the max 2Ch support for uncompressed via optical, and wanted to make sure I could still get 7.1 support.

By the sounds of it, bitstream output will do it, but won't be uncompressed, is this correct?
