I've watched it twice in 3D, I'm considering about watch it again in 2D, there's some dark scenes that I can't see what's happening in 3D (because the glasses make the images darker)

What kind of 3D glasses do you use?

That's what happens when theatres project Real-D 3D onto regular screens. It dims the image. Next time you're watching a 3D movie at your regular, non-specially equipped theatre, take the glasses off while the movie is playing. You'll see the difference in brightness immediately.

Saw an early screening today on a stereoscopic 3D screen and enjoyed it. A friend and I will be going again to see it on Saturday in IMAX 3D because we felt cheated on the smaller screen.

Oh yeah, the movie was really good. That final scene at the end of the credits
[Show spoiler]had to be one of the longer ones from the Marvel movies.

The item in that case is the infinity/cosmic cube which grants its carrier special powers/abilities/wishes. You will find out more about it in July when Captain America comes out. I am assuming there is some connection with Captain America and this movie and how Shield got its hand on it.

Loki knows exactly what it is and appears to be controlling the doctor, who repeated the exact words that Loki quoted.

[Show spoiler] He is if he is being controlled by Loki. Prior to that and during the movie he was a good guy.

This how it all connects:

[Show spoiler]In The Incredible Hulk, when Hulk and Betty are on the run and it's raining and storming, that's when Thor is trying to get the Mjollnir out of the stone. Of course in Iron Man 2 at the end when Coulson arrives to Nevada. So, that means the events in Thor are taking place at the same time as Iron Man 2 and Incredible Hulk.

Also, I didn't realize that Ray Stevenson was in this as Volstagg. He was The Punisher in Punisher: War Zone.

Also; "He drank, he fought, he made his ancestors proud!"

You know I was trying to explain that to my wife and friends that we saw the movie with. I just wasn't sure which scene from Thor connected it to TIH.
[Show spoiler] But I figured it had to be the scene when he was trying to retrieve Mjolnir because it was raining during that scene as it was raining right after the big park incident when the Hulk had carried Betty to that rocky hillside.

[Show spoiler]so does that mean at the end of The Incredible Hulk when they show Banner meditating and his eyes turn, does that mean Loki has turned him bad? and does this mean Loki will be the main Villain in Avenagers?

[Show spoiler]You know, I thought the end of Incredible Hulk was Banner learning how to control it. But, maybe oddly, Loki got the Marvel Execs to recast Norton with Mark Ruffalo.

I don't know if that connection is there. What I mean is
[Show spoiler]I'm not sure that Loki is connected to the Hulk in that way as far as controlling him. I think that scene just indicated that Banner was able to control his transformation to the Hulk at will instead of by anger/excitement.
