hmm i disagree with your statements about capcoms "quantity over quality" capcom is very consistent with making triple A titles and creating some great IPs. sure in some of its games it makes you back track a few times here and there but thats just nitpicking. overall they have made some very impressive games and are at the top of my list as one of the best, if not THE best developer.

I thought back tracking was good, re treading old areas because you didnt have the ability to go somewhere in that old area, games coming to mind like blaster master and Super Metroid.
