Toshiba... yes it does.

JK.
If it is that large and only outputs 720 (input doesn't matter), then you should upgrade when you can afford it.

Yup, my neighbor just got it from Amazon and he's pretty happy about the purchase. I'm considering this TV for my bedroom.

I probably buy. Only thing I'm afraid of is getting a defective tv and having to send it back instead of having the local store come pick it up. Hmmmm, lets look up Amazon return policy

amazon return policy for TV's is pretty nice. White glove service if you order the TV. They will open it for you and you can inspect it when it arrives, for any damage. Then if you find no damage, you have 30 days to return it... depending on the defect.

If there is damage, then you can refuse the package on the spot and get a full refund or replacement

I just ordered my TH-50PZ85U from amazon. It arrives May 1 !!!! I'm going to be using it solely for my bedroom... I'll drop the money for a nice TV/projector when I have a house to put it all in

At $1997 with no tax and free shipping, it is a decision you would not regret.

The deep blacks of plasma along with the ultra-fast response and highly accurate colours and motion resolution will have you enjoying the full benefits of Blu-ray.

An excellent recommendation.

I play games with my plasma... I take it to the park and play tag... no seriously... No problem with burnin... and my TV is on 18h a day... kids playing games on it constantly... COD4, PS3 stuff and Wii stuff... drives me batty. Altho I like COD4 too. Then we watch movies. I wouldn't worry about image retention on any newer plasma TV... they have anti-burnin technology. I have had image retention on LCD monitors too... so don't think you're doing better buying an LCD. LCD has a larger problem list than plasma.
You should at least check them out... once you have plasma experience you'll understand so check them out. I wanted an XBR4 one time, I changed my mind after I started to look at plasmas for the first time in my life. I used to hate plasma. Just to be fair... the XBR is a very good TV... but it ain't the best for your $
