Same here. I've got a BOSE LifeStyle 18, and sadly that receiver does not support HDMI... luckily it supports optical and I am pretty happy with it thus far.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, I just don't want to start a new one.
I've had my (sony STR-de545) receiver for years now and I'm pretty happy with it. My question is...if I upgrade the receiver (probably the 720, 820 or the Onkyo 605), will I be able to notice a difference in the quality of sound from the speakers? My current speakers: Floor-standing (Sony - 150w) Center (Pioneer - 150w) Sub (Sony) Insignia (40w) - eventually this will be upgraded ![]() Thanks! |
