I don't know why so many people are *****ing about Metal Gear Solid 2 and how we had to play as Raiden, I loved it, the way he could jump and use a sword and whatnot, I thought it was great

Most people in the known universe think that one surprise is that the 360 version will be announced within a month or two...of course I don't know under what context this specific surprise you are referring to was announced.

- For some reason, I wanted to see Snake die.

I think we all got the 'Snake's Final Mission' mixed up and everyone assumed that 'OMG, HES OLD, AND FINAL MISSION?! HE'S GOING TO DIEE!'

- Raiden, after those beatings he took, he should be dead, leaving him alive, was a mistake to me, (Plus, that would be really cool if Rosemary was talking to Snake and brings the kid and is like 'This is Little John...Jack's Son, Our Son.' & when he's lying down on the bed, his body looked in pretty good shape to me!

- An explaination on how Big Boss is not burnt one bit from the fight at Zanzibar Land with Snake

I do too. But I guess Kojima wanted a more hopeful send off for Snake.

I'm ok with the ending and all, but I prefer a more dramatic send off.

There are other ways for Meryl and her father to come to a resolution, without the whole wedding thing. But I don't mind the wedding.

I think this is probably one of those things where they think it isn't important to explain. I don't know, I don't mind the lack of explanation, but I agree, it would be better if they explain it.

I actually like this ending for Raiden, thought it was a nice fit. As for Raiden's body being in good shape, if you look closer, his skin is artificial. His entire body looks artificial actually. There's lines all around, even the skin that cover his bottom jaw has a line.

Well, Big Boss did say his body was fix by using Liquid/Ocelot/Solidus cell, or whatever.

All in all I love the game, it has amazing graphic. (The best I've seen in console gaming) The sound, the gameplay, character development, it's all good. But for me I like the ending to MGS3 more, it was ALOT more powerful. This one was kinda cheesy every here and there. But it's good overall.

1) how did meryl and rat patrol function properly despite liquid had control over the entire SOP system?
2) how the hell did psycho mantis last so long?
3) how did snake live even though he shot the gun?
4) how the hell did johnny get back on the boat, he fell into the ocean.

I like the game and I think it tied things up fairly well. I just wish there was a Demo Theater (unless I am missing it somewhere) so I do not have to play through the game again to watch everything. Although I will most likely play through again.

The wedding between Johnny and Meryl was a little odd to me. Yes they were on a team together, but how did they fall in love? More specifically Meryl. She just seemed to go along with the idea of getting married.

What was the green goop that the Gekko's sprayed when they lost a target? I figured they were marking the territory so they knew they had already been there and it was clear.

I was disappointed in Shadow Moses when I could not get a flash back audio for the Psycho Mantis fight, but I like how they brought him back during the Screaming Mantis fight. That makes up for it. I would have loved for the Sorrow to make an appearance since he was dead in Snake Eater and still roamed around. Plus he was one of the puppets.

I was expecting more for the flashbacks (pressing X during a cut scene) I thought it would explain more instead of just showing pictures. For people not having played a MGS previously, this seems like it would have been a waste of time and a bit confusing.

Overall, GREAT game. Cut scenes were a little long at times and more play would have been a bonus. But MGS4 has set a new standard in for me in presentation, story telling and graphics. Everything fit together so nicely and looked wonderful. And the game was full of Fan service.

raiden should have died at shadow moses. the lightning on the sword was in my opinion a good send off for him, but then the ending with him wouldnt have worked. i really thought snake shot himself and then with the wedding scene i thought that should have came b4 the snake scene, then they showed the final snake scene.

i loved this game. online is amazing and fun. im for sure going to be trying to beat this on big boss extreme. if u do it in under 5 hours, no alerts, and no kills you get the highest ranking u can.

i hope they dont make another one just because it will be too hard to top this. it was a good way to end it. i know, i know, they have said they are most likely making a 5th and maybe 6th but its not the same without snake. raiden is cool, i like him more know because of this game. i wish you could have at least played as him once in this. too bad they dont have a "raiden tales" on this like they did on substance with snake.

u can watch the mission briefings from the main menu, it said that during the game, im not sure where or about the cutscenes. a demo theater would be nice though

i could have done better but it was the first time through so i was running all over and checking out everything, especially during act IV at shadow moses. that was awesome. i loved how u got the MGS1 face camo. i wore it for a few minutes but then switched to young snake with bandanna cuz it looked so bad ass

Snakes name is David. At the end of MGS1 he says his name is David, then it displays David Hayter as the voice actor. I think they took the voice actors name to be Snakes name.

[Show spoiler] I believe someone calls him David in MGS4 also. Either Big Mama or Big Boss does.

This would make some sense of the interview if it is David Hayter playing the part of Snake in the interview. I think all of it are shows of 2015, when the game takes place. There are commercials for the different PMC's at the end of the shows before the game loads too. I hope to see an explanation of what it is somewhere.

That was explained. Psycho Mantis spirit pretty much control Screaming Mantis, which then control the rest of the Beasts. But after defeat, Psycho Mantis spirit was driven away by The Sorrow spirit. You can hear his voice.

1:Liquid only took control of the GW AI, This AI only controlled the Soldiers, but JD still had supreme control over everything.
2: If your refering to the suit, it had a backup power unit like all the suits, Psycho's memories had been implanted into the suit along with the sorrows. This is why she said those were her former selfs. Plus the whole RUMBLE IS BACK! Was awesome!
3: Snake never shot the gun, Big Boss did.
4:no freaking clue in all honesty he probably would have been washed out into sea from the currents being produced by the ships.

It wasn't Liquid, it was Ocelot playing as Liquid to fool the Patriot/AI. According to Big Boss.

You are correct. Sorry, yes it was Ocelot the whole time but Ocelot went under hypnosis to fool the patriots when they would read his brain waves to think he was liquid.

Also who else's favorite character was the soda chungin, wine sipping, chain smoking Monkey! Woth the 1970's disco underwear!

I finished in 18 because of the stupid informant mission! I got sighted twice on accident!

I already finished the game once and am going through a second time trying not to kill anybody.

I couldn't help but kill all these people in this one section they just kept coming and I was pegging them off with the sniper, one even kept dropping a RPG7 worth a couple thousand DP's. I ended up with about 30,000 DB's after five min's
