Pirates 1 & 2 - Black Bars??

I was wrong. So I mostly bought Fullscreen movies for the longest time. I have grown out of that and buy ONLY Widescreen movies up until a few days ago. Now I buy BD.

Anyway, why can't they just make it so the movie fills the ENTIRE screen and I don't feel like I just spent all this money only to have 1/4 of my screen NOT USED. I just feel jipped kinda.


However, I don't have a problem with the bars at all. I like my entire picture on the screen.

Then go get a PlayStation 3 and games for it. Those are full 1080p vertical. Or just get HD programming for your TV, to watch TV shows in. MOVIES should always be displayed the way the artist intended.

Thats like buying a work of art from a gallery, and then chopping off the sides so that it fits in the frame that you bought a day earlier.
