I do have a PS3. And your analogy regarding art work - it's not the same.

I am not going to argue over this as there is nothing that can be done, however I will ask this question - why make tv's and movies that don't "mesh" well with each other? Would it not be better to have a movie that is presented as the director or whoever is shooting it would have and a tv that displays that image filling the entire screen instead of wasting some of it?

Forgive me, but are we not aiming for standards?
