In other words will it be an epiphany like moment/experience where you realize every movie you have ever watched in your past was utter crap and now you know that you will have to watch each and every single one over again.

At 56" the difference will be VERY noticeable. I even notice quite a difference on my 40" 1080p compared to my old 40" 720p I used to have.
