I heard that their giving you Hard Boiled on Blu Ray when you buy this game. does anyone know if its going to be region free? Thanks in advance.

hey mate my understanding of the matter is that hard boiled is going to be on the same disc as the game itself so its only going to be SD and not mastered for blu ray .

however this is just what iv'e read on message boards so take it with a grain of salt until closer to the release date when specs are final.

This is a wierd one i think will be region free as PS3 games are region free

i Dont know about the region free, i think it will be as its on the game disc, but its not SD, its in full HD 1080p picture for blu-ray...

sorry to say but your living in a fantasy world. its confirmed . hard boiled and stranglehold on ONE blu ray disc in full 1080p. u should reserve your collectors edition or you'll be kicking yourself in the bum when you cant get a collectors edition anymore since you didnt take us seriously. tsk tsk

I m just going to have to buy it & risk it not being region free, stranglehold & Hard boiled on blu ray for £32 thats a bargain.

But will it be a remastered edition or just a cheap blow-up of the DVD version?
I know it'd be stupid if it was the latter, but one never knows.

Can't wait for this one, plus for the PS3 you get Hard Boiled. Does anyone know the specs on the movie that comes with the PS3 version? Is it 1080p? Also wouldn't that be awesome if it offered 5.1 PCM!

Am I the only one who would like to have a separate disc for Hard Boiled? I just like having the stuff on the shelf . . . I'm nerdy like that.

The movie is on the Collector's Edition for PS3 only.
The Xbox 360 version has a Collector's Edition, but it doesn't have the movie at all, just some bonus extras.
The Wii version does not have a Collector's Edition at all.

There's an article in the Newsweek Level Up blog that has an interview with Midway Games about the PS3 Collector's Edition where they confirm that the movie on the disc is going to be in full 1080p.
