Stranglehold doesn't have Hard boiled?? - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, I haven't kept up with the gaming aspect of the ps3 very much but I thought Stranglehold was going to come with an HD copy of Hard boiled on it that was only playable on the PS3??? did that not happen or something. I picked up a copy of Stranglehold today and didn't see it anywhere on the disc.

Maybe it only came with the special/collector's edition of Stranglehold?

EDIT: After a quick search, yes, Hard Boiled does only come on the collector's edition version.

It was a special edition version to get the movie.

It's only on the Special Edition. Don't be upset, the picture and sound quality are terrible. Wait for a standalone of the movie.

Ahhhhhhh.........Stranglehold collector's edition with the movie Hard Boiled. Best money I ever spent. This is one game/movie combo I don't see at used shops. Keeping mine forever.

yup PS3 has 2 versions one without and one with the movie. the one with the movie is in a black cover and the one without has the red cover. 360 version is one with game only and the other with a special edition dvd with behind the scenes of making the game and stuff like that

yup. i was pissed about the pq and sq....damn near VHS quality. waited so long for that thing to come out because all the the postponements, the game was actually the reason i bought a ps3, but i was really disappointed with the hard boiled half of the not-so-special edition. such a shame, because i love the movie.

Share your sentiments. The tacked-on feel (especially since it was a 25GB BD) of the movie didn't jive with me at all. Luckily, I had already bought previously the Criterion Collection DVD version of Hard Boiled so I don't even bother to play the Strangleheld version of Hard Boiled.

It was suppose to be a 50GB BD, but I think something happened to stop that. They never said it was changed to a 25GB BD, but the BD appears to be 25GB (from the markings).
