Anyone else following the Tour de France? - Blu-ray Forum

I love to watch the scenery. German TV pulled out earlier because of doping cyclists. Now I just heard there is another scandal going on with the race. At least the scenery still looks beautiful.

The fans are hilarious. If you haven't watched here's what you've missed.

They have guys running along with the riders so hard that their shorts fall off(probably by design).
A guy ran along the bikes with a thong and the commentator could only say, "well there's an athletic person!"
Another guy was in a one piece yellow female bathing suit which barely covered his privates. He had a big bushy wig on his head (not to mention the hair down below) and a pair of sunglasses. The commentator could only say, "My, it looks like Borat is here."
Another time they focus in on a rider thinking he is hurt, the guy whips it out and starts doing a "nature break" alongside the road.

I've also seen the bike riders throw their water bottles at topless girls alongside the road. They throw them just over their heads for maximum effect. Like I said the scenery is beautiful.

Anyone else following the Tour?

I guess no one is into cycling. Oh well...

Another streaker today and the leader was sent home for allegations of doping. Just the usual stuff.

Don't forget the people who don't leash their dogs,and poor fido ends up causing a three bike pile up. I also enjoy the scenery.

We had a day off at work when they finished in Gent, Belgium. I work on 500 metres from the finish, so due to inaccessibility we had a day off.

Sadly I did not have time to watch a BD.

In Gent more than 20 or 30 cyclist ran into eachother and watched the finish on a big screen.
