Default Michael Jackson: This Is It Tour

Since The King of Pop said this is his final curtain calls as his final performing tour ever, i hope they will release this on blu-ray just like they did with all the blu-ray concerts. what do you guys think? Can the 1988 Michael Jackson's Moonwalker movie looks hot on blu-ray?

It is interesting to note that in his 1988 movie "Moonwalker" he was the first to use CGI effects seamlessly with actual pictures and the morphing effects in his "black and white" music video.

50 Concerts in London and over a million tickets sold, he's definitely one of the greatests ever.

I just wish he'd make new songs but yeah what can we do about it :-)

Default i think

He should make new songs like he was talking about long ago back in 2006, 2007 and then 2008 he just re-released Thriller with remixes of his old songs and claimed that the new album would come out in the same year, none of that happens... so I'm like what is he doing? he claimed that he recorded over 100 songs already. Well, maybe he gave up cause he knew all his old songs still alive to this day. Well, I wish i could watch him perform for the first time in my life in my own eyes, but i guess this will never happens... but at least have a blu-ray version of This is It is fine enough for me.

It would be a smart move to put out a blu-ray IMO. They just did it for Stevie Wonder

I really, really think he will die in one of the shows. The man is not in good enough shape to do that many shows.

It won't be him. It will be the same body double that did the press announcement. Michael Jackson hasn't had that much nose in over a decade. I don't think he has a nose at all anymore. I'd bet he has a proboscis prosthesis.

I think you're onto something.

I would never pay £75 to go and see his show, thankfully the gf doesn't want to go, so that's saved me £150!

Default if ya dont like Mike

Don't write about him. This is for the MJ fans who support him. All i want is his performance on-stage on blu-ray. The reason why he back, i guess he lost so much money in the past and trying to get his money back easily. I dont care about his nose or his weight, if he been practicing working out and performing then he said he will be ready and that is IT!!!

Wow... I guess, as expected, there are going to be a bunch of haters in a mixed forum. But this is not for them. You keep on hating while Michael sells out 50 shows in one location and in record time, while more concerts are being planned for him to perform elsewhere in the world. Any of your fave artists capable of half of that?

As for me, I'm going to his 5th show in July. Flying from Toronto. The concert ticket alone, being the VIP Thriller Hospitality package that I bought, cost me $1500 CAD. Then there's all the flight and hotel expenses on there.

As for questions on his health, whether or not he'll be able to perform, he had to undergo a 4 hour physical to ensure he is up to the challenge. He's healthy, and looking better than he has for a long time.

Mine can, She is Madonna. She's got the number one tour by a female artist ever, and also the number one tour by a Single artist ever.

Pastic surgery can make a nose smaller.... but even the very best plastic surgeon in the entire world can not reconstruct a nose and make it look the least bit natural. Sure..... noses can be reconstructed.... but you can definitely tell it. The guy that gave the press conference definitely had a larger nose than Michael Jackson has had in over a decade. Either that was not Michael..... or that was Michael and he now has a prosthetic nose and a great make-up artist.

You're talking tour... what I meant was, 50 sold out shows in record time at the same location... no tour here.

Celine Dion performed 717 shows during her residency at Caesar's Palace Las Vegas, but after all those shows, her total audience came to around 3 million.

Michael's performing to 1 million fans in 50 shows, and could sell out more shall he continue and make this a tour after all.

none of my favorite artists can sell out shows like that, but then it's not about selling out shows. it's about talent and they've got that in spades. all selling out proves is that you're good at marketing/selling yourself. it doesn't take musical talent to do that. you can keep your jackson and madoona. i'll stick with my innocence mission and the good old bo's.
