Thumbs up Definitive Technology & Chet!!

So I purchased all my definitive speakers listed in my sig about 2 years ago. One of the bp7002 towers started making a crackling noise from the sub while watching movies at high volume level during heavy bass scenes about 6 months ago. Obviously it isn't getting any better and I have been dreading the thought of boxing this beast up as it is 110lbs, and taking it to ultimate electronics for them to send to definitive for repairs. Plus being without a major component of my sound system for a couple of weeks would not be cool. I finally called definitive today and spoke to chet in the warranty department. I explained to him what was going on and he proceeded to tell me he would ship another sub to me and I would have it within a week!! Fricken awesome!! I should have called 6 months ago instead of fearing the worst. Job well done to Chet and Definitive Technology! I knew I spent about $4k for bad ass speakers, but did not know that great customer service and a great warranty came along with it! I don't foresee spending that kind of cash on speakers again for a long time, but when I do it will definitely be on definitive technology again. Thanks again chet!

Deftech has great customer service. I've called them a few times for things and they've never charged me a dime for anything I've needed. Didn't even charge for shipping.

No doubt it always seems all you hear about are bad experiences. That's why I wanted to share with everyone the great experiance I had today.
