Default Just attached new connection cables and now have PC to LCD lag.

I have a pretty state of the art (for home use) HP 180a computer. I have 2 Samsung SyncMaster hi def monitors.

Now all was fine until I wanted to move things around and needed longer cables.

I had the standard (I think 1.8 mtr) cables that come in tha packages with screens. I needed an extra mtr. So I needed 3 mtr.

Shop only had 5 mtr cable. I said isn't that a bit long but they assured me it would be fine.

Now I have lag on hi def video (noticably worse on the HDMI>DVI cable than on the straight DVI>DVI cable. I even get some sort of horrible lag just using the mouse arrow... BTW the HDMI>DVI cable is a lot thinner than the DVI>DVI cable.

Can anyone advise?
