Default Onkyo 605 pcm or auto question?
Ok question got my 605 onkyo and my sony bdp-s300 now I have a choice on my blu ray player for pcm or auto for audio output. When I do pcm I get multichannel pcm lite up on my reciever only no matter what. But When I do auto on the sony blu ray player, and pop in a blu ray disc with 5.1 pcm and true hd it looks like it defaults to 5.1 DD for the sound. So my question is will I have to change back and forth for say a dvd to auto and then pcm only for blu rays that have pcm on them? Is pcm the best I am capable of getting with my set up?
