It's cheaper to import US discs than buy European releases. Partly because the cheap dollar and partly because HighDef discs are cheaper in general in US.

Most discs are region free and plays in all players. All releases from Warner are region free and plays in all Blu-ray players.

I only own imported discs. I have only bought a few from Europe because these titles are not available in USA yet.

I live in Sweden and have ordered plenty of movies from USA through the Danish site www.axelmusic.com:

That could be a problem. I don't mind that. No subtitles or English subtitles are fine for me. They do have Spanish and French subtitles also.

If you can do without the subtitles it's cheaper and better to import from US and the Danish site www.axelmusic.com is a very good site to import from.

The Replacement Killers is the first Blu-ray I have imported with Swedish and Danish subtitles. I guess more titles in US with Scandinavian sub-titles will come. They do not add so much space or cost.

We also get Children of Men exclusively in Scandinavia on Blu-ray. With this title some Americans will import from Scandinavia
