Just wanted to give you an update what`s out on 8th of January here in Germany...

Death Proof in a nice Steelbook Case, just like the "Pan`s Labyrinth", since it`s also from the same Distributor Senator Film.

Here are the specs...

Aspect ratio: 2.35:1 16:9

Audio: PCM 5.1 German
PCM 5.1 English
DTS HD 5.1 German
DTS HD 5.1 English

Extras: Original Theatrical Trailer, "Stunts on Wheels" Featurette with Zoe Bell and Kurt Russell, "Quentins Girls", Mary Elizabeth Winstead "Baby it`s You", "The Guys of Death Proof", "Quentins Favourite Cutter: Sally Menke"

Running time: 109 Minutes

Sweet. Glad to see them give the same audio treatment for both German and English.

Does anywhere have better shipping than www.amazon.de? Because they're brutal for shipments across the Atlantic.

I just checked what it would cost to send a Blu-Ray to the USA, it has been quiet some, but I had some Pals in the States I sent out some DVD`s but that was a couple of years ago.

It seems the Price would be around $ 6.00... whooaaahhh, the shipping costs must have changed quiet a bit.

I`d help out but then there`s always the problem how to receive the money etc.

Is this region free and will there be a Planet Terror Blu-ray? IDK whats up Weinstein's ass but they stopped releasing all HDM.

I loved the look of both films. They're very stylish and artistic. Too bad, Deathproof wasn't as good as Planet Terror.

I agree completely. I also look forward to Robert Rodríguez' "Machete", which he and Tarantino say will be made.

After how badly Grindhouse bombed...I wouldn't count on that happening.

Nonetheless...I LOVED Grindhouse and might just be importing if this is the case. Unless Weinstein gets on the ball and releases it proper like.

I'd love to order this, I just saw Death Proof last week and thought it was fantastic, just a very fun movie. I think I'll hold out for a Grindhouse Double Feature on Blu for awhile though.
