Death Proof January 2008 Release in Germany

Well, this is my first Post here and I thought I give you Guys an Update on Releases here in Germany, since some of you maybe even imported the "Pans Labyrinth" Blu Ray.

Senator Filmverleih (the distributor) releases "Death Proof" in January 2008 over here, no other technical details in terms of Audio or Extras, we´ll just have to see and wait for that.
It might even get released in a Steelbook case just like Pan`s Labyrinth.

And also confirmed the very first Blu Ray Release from Ascot Elite, they will release "Bug" the Ashley Judd Thriller in December 2007.
It will have a english Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack and as Extras so far confirmed are a Director`s Commentary, Interview(Discussion with Director William Friedkin, a Making of Featurette.

Well our www.Amazon.de would be a good start, but Death Proof is not listed so far, since the news came out yesterday, what might be intresting also is that Senator also releases "Planet Terror" on Blu Ray but since it`s still in theatrical release over here, I guess it might come out in March or April 2008.


Since senator also released "Planet Terror" over here in Theaters, a Blu Ray Release should be out some time around March or April 2008.

Sorry, I really don`t know if they are codefree, since I have a european PS3.

Hopefully the rumors of Weinstein going Blu are true, otherwise I'll have to import this (if it's all regions).

I agree Weinstein Going Blu would be huge Whole Bloody Affair and The Grind House would be amazing and sales would be crazy.

Since this is your first post I am skeptical, do you have any links to confirm what you're saying?

im disappointed planet terror and deathproof are being released separately.
i dont think both movies were good enough to warrant separate purchases...
although, if they were both released on a one or two disc set. i would buy it then...
