They don't have movies you download onto your PC, but you can watch them using a plug-in in Internet Explorer.

The PS3 browser doesn't support it.

Welcome to the forums! The netflix movies are yours to view, it will not let you save them (legally anyway)

No, however Netflix has stated that they plan for people to be available to watch the movies on the PS3, xbox 360 and Iphone sometime in 08 during their last earnings call!!!

Default PSP Any Video Convertor Program

You can search the internet for Any Video Convertor and it will take you to a website that you can purchase a program via download that will let you make any standard DVD you own into the .mpeg4 file type and you can transfer to a memory pro stick.

Netflix has a video streaming service, but not a download service. The only thing you're downloading is a small playback software that you need to install in order to view the DVD's. You can't save them though.

I use Netflix's "Watch Instantly" feature about once a month. It is very nice, and much better than any other online video services I can think of. It's often near-DVD quality, but the caveat is that you cannot watch these streaming movies on your PS3. The reason why is that Netflix installs a small plug-in in your browser to make this work, and PS3 does not allow for plug-in installation right now.

Still, if you have a computer/laptop with a big-screen, it is just one more great thing about Netflix's service. They are doing a great job of bringing newer movies over to the service (Like full seasons of Heroes, The Office, even Pan's Labyrinth).

It's icky old Windows Media anyway, so don't think a Linux browser would have the capability to handle it--
