Default Hanging around after the format war is dead?

Im interested in knowing who will be hanging around this website once the format war is officially over...

I dont know about everyone else here but I have become addicted to this site and all of the news about this format war. It is very interesting to me and it really makes my work day go by faster. The problem is, I can see myself visiting this site less and less once all of the DUD bashing, exclusivity news, etc. slows down.

What does everyone else think? I love Blu and I will always be an active member of this site. (As long as I dont get banned for this thread!) Moreover, Im not trying to be a downer in any way and I will always visit this site but I can see my contribution to the threads (never ending, however) slowing down.

Does anyone agree or am I blowing smoke?

Agree 100%. Most of us will still be here. It is our love of the blu-ray format, movies and lively discussions that keep me here. Not the war.

I'll be sticking around... I too have become addicted to this site. I lurked on AVS starting a few years back, but left it early in '07 and have lost so much respect for the site and many of the members that I doubt I will ever return.

Yep. Advice on upcoming movies and PQ and AQ and Blu-ray equipment. That's all still going to be relevant. Sitting around, quaffing root beers, and swapping format war stories. That's always fun.

Even after the format battle has settled, there are still a world of possible improvements that need to happen. It's our responsibility to voice reasonable improvements that we would like to see happen to help the format become that much better.

Just complaining about bugs without constructive criticism isn't going to improve the format. Blu-ray forums has become a very important voice for the industry to listen to help them make Blu-ray better for you and me.

Default for me im staying

I have only been a member for a little while but have been blu since august with the purchase of a PS3. I have become totally addicted to checking in and seeing what is going on with the war. I now have a second PS3 80 gig for the bedroom and 120 blu movies with 6 on pre order. Thanks to you guys I found great buys on almost all my movies. I took advantage of all of the amazon bogos and any other deals I found on here. I have only paid Best Buy retail on my first movie which was 300. I look forward to reading and posting more. Thanks alot to all the people on this site.

For sure!

We can argue about actual movies and not how we watched them
