yeah personally I have nothing against the Giants but I was rootin for GB.. I don't agree with that sudden death OT either.. kinda sucks.

At least SD lost so my night wasn't a total washout.

How sweet is this: Eli Manning is in the Super Bowl before LT and Rivers. That's a double whammy for SD fans.

for you packer fans...now you know what it feels like to be an Eagles fan

I hate the Giants and Eli but Favre looked old and made too many poor decisions...might be time to finally hang it up.

To be honest, the Giants have played everyone close but haven't impressed me. I hope they get their asses handed to them by the Pats

I think it would be a double whammy if Vick made it too, even though thats highly unlikely to happen now.

Since essentially the Vick and Tomlinson picks were swapped before the draft, and the Rivers and E. Manning picks were swapped after the draft started.

So maybe it's just a single whammy. Maybe the Chargers need to watch some "Press Your Luck" No whammies, no whammies, no whammies....stop!!

I guess it's a double because Eli made it AND the Chargers lost on the same day. I'm sooooo glad I won't have to see Rivers run his mouth like he's all that but I'm sure we're going to be seeing LT cry in the coming days.

Go New York!

Thats true, I guess my thing would be a triple or quadruple whammy. Good luck to your Giants.

Go Pats.

Thanks. Not really a Giants fan. Just picking a side on this one. I think it would be cool to have two different Mannings win the Super Bowl back to back.

Dude I live in GB for college. Do you realize how pissed off the entire city is going to be for like 2 weeks. lol that sucks. These pack fans hold on to a regular season loss for at least a week.

Meh. Call it triple whammy, when it's Manning before Rivers, Kaeding, and Sean "Bonds got nothin' on me" Merriman (all three who were traded for the Manning pick).

/me gots on mah Strahan jersey today.

Y'know, Boston fans are starting to feel guilty about this...

I mean, we've been so used to being a good-sportsmanship lil' second-place town with the Red Sox thing, and now winning the World Series and the Superbowl within months of each other, we know it has to be disappointing for everyone else--
How do you think we felt this year, with everyone treating the Patriots as the Yankees Of Football??

Yeah, but the Pats worked under the same salary cap constraints as every other team. So that makes us better than being the Yankees of football.

Also the NE Revolution have turned into the Buffalo Bills of the MLS.

FYI, salary-wise, the Giants are the Pittsburgh Pirates of the NFL

Not quite the Florida Marlins payroll? A baseball team with a 10 million dollar payroll? That's almost insulting to the sport. lol.
