or something. I would tend to think something very gentle... even distilled water and a cloth ought to be pretty good. Best source of distilled water is your breath. |

if you do use any cloths try and make sure they aren't just any rags but microfiber cloths. these are usually better in preventing scratches and whatnot and are better at removing dust (im not sure but i dont even think you need to dampen them for the dust either)

Sometimes I use a little urine ...works as an antiseptic so I assume its gotta be a good lcd cleaner.

I find the Monster product with a micro-fiber cloth works best. It has no ammonias or alcohol based components and doesn't damage the LCD screen. I would NOT use window cleaner or other over the counter cleaning products to clean a LCD screen. You'll find it damages the screen over time and gradually leaves it duller.

I've been using the one I got for free when I got my LCD, they gave me like a 12oz bottle.

Many people swear by this product...
http://www.klearscreen.com/KlearScreenHD.aspx A cheaper solution is the lens cleaner product sold at Wal-mart. It's targeted for glasses but works well on lcds and other displays. |
