Default Need Help Some Sony Projection TV owners

I'm dying to upgrade to Blue Ray...I bought my Sony a year and a half ago without Blue Ray in mind of course. After doing some research on my set...im affraid it is not 1080p.

Does anyone else have a KDS-RD50 (or 60) BR1??? it is a Grand Wega. The specifications for the set says 1080p but i read a review that said it upconverts to 1080p and will not work with a PS3 or blueray? can anyone PLEASE help me. Im sooo bummed my fairly new set is already outdated.

Thanks in advance

Your TV is fine, don't worry.

You're doing fine. It's a great set, enjoy it. Blu-ray looks great on it.

I don't have that particular TV, but have seen it plugged into the Sharp Blu player, and it looks amazing.
