Default NEED HELP-Laptop to TV

Ok, I need help. Trying to get a vga signal to my hdtv. My outputs on my laptop are vga and usb. I have an hdmi input on my tv, as well as component and s-video. How do I get the signal there without buying a vga to dvi converter (they're like 300 bucks)

EDIT: would something like this work http://www.av-cables.net/VGA-compone...ble-29643.html

Maybe this will work, since you have component input....
