Default Is that the best you can throw at me?

So here is a 360elite advert;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_sAZ...watch_response

so lets see
"Back in black"
Its matte black not even shiney

"pure HDMI"
It doesnt even do 7.1

"Massive 120GB Hard Drive"
yep way bigger than 320GB

"sleek black finish"
you've already run out of ideas

"feed your hi def appitite"
yes, buy a PS3

OK, so its a bit fanboyish but I had to do it.

Very Fanboyish, the best thing to do to promote the ps3 is to focus on the good of the ps3, and not mention the downfalls of the xbox

Well red does go good with black so that RROD should look sweet.

What's wrong with matte black compared to shiny? I'd take a matte black PS3 over a shiny one any day of the week!

Yes they do.

Until the Xbox gets the Jasper motherboard later this year, every Xbox on the market has a probability of RROD.

Even then, it's not guaranteed that they still won't RROD, but it should reduce the probability.

Actually they are notorious for red ringing IN THE PLASTIC ENCLOSURE, since there is no air flow. Not for in normal everyday use. (the black ones that is)

100% correct. We are going to need a good 3-4 months in the field in order to get relevant REAL END USER reports about if the "Jasper" version of the Crapbox360 is RROD proof or not.

Until then... all Crapbox360 owners can look forward to this:

There are currently 179 broken PS3s on ebay.

Yeah, XBox 360s break. My anecdotal experience states that people with Black elites who take care of their products (lay them flat to allow air flow, leave them ventilated) don't experience problems. Those fans are insanely noisy though, and I probably wouldn't buy one just for that. However, they do come with a 3 year manufactuer warranty.

And, your initial gripe of "lol it's matte black not even shiny" pretty much shows that you'll do anything to point out a flaw, even if it's completely subjective and aesthetic. They make a product and *GASP* are trying to market it to consumers the way billions of other products are marketed. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Sad.

ps - At least you didn't type "M$." I'll at least acknowledge that.
