Temporary solution - Blu-ray Forum

heya

i got a sony strdg720 from my wifes bro a couple weeks ago and would really like to use it (low on money)

what do you think of these speakers for temporoary (3/4 months, then ill give em to my daughter)? i just need something a little better then tv speakers for a couple months until i get sme real money put aside.

will they work with my sony reciever? will it be ok for a couple months at least? or should i just stick with my tv speakers?

Well, I know I would want to start hearing that receiver work. If you are going to buy them new I think they would be ok. If you want to spend a little more I recommend the Polk RM6750's. But if you are sure you will be upgrading then you might be better off with the Yamahas. Did you get the calibration Mic with the receiver. Remeber to set the speakers to "Small" when setting up the receiver.
