Default Who is the industry leader in BD?

Which studio is the most ambitious and industry leading in BD releases? Who is closing in?

The statistics on the community on this website is a pretty good indicator in telling you which studios are ahead....

I would have to say Disney at #1 and Universal #2..Even thou Universal held out on supporting BD.There release ever since the war as been over has been top notch. They always have a excellent PQ and AQ on there releases.

The question is not which studio we like better or which studio has the best PQ and AQ.

I think Warner is the leader considering they have the biggest catalog. But having no figures per studio I could not be sure they are the biggest BD release maker.

I would have to say Warner. The amount of releases they have out there is pretty impressive. I don't have a fancy sound setup, so right now I don't sound like a whining lil be-otch.

Disney may not be releasing it's back catalog like Warner's but technically Disney sets the bar (in video and audio).

Yeah I have to agree. Disney seems to be the most dedicated to releasing as many Blu-Ray's as they can.

I agree it's Disney but I think if they wanted they could really take blu-ray to the mainstream if they were more aggressive in releasing their classics. However, we know Disney has a strategy in releasing their classics by only releasing 2-4 per year. I don't mind this either as long as they're given a proper treatment like Sleeping Beauty, which I haven't seen but have heard great things about.

Warner does a pretty good job...but for the love of all that is holy, please get rid of those digi book things....a nice standard case will do.

In terms of quality:
Disney (always top-notch pq, aq and extras)
In terms of quantity:
Warner or Sony although most they bring out don't interest me at all.

I think Disney is the best right now with Universal quickly coming up.

Sony is also a really good studio. Fox (pricing sucks), Paramount (still bitter over the buyout) and Warner (sound fiasco) are good but have the previously mentioned problems.

Also, does anyone else find it annoying that Paramounts newer releases are all on that dull grey bluray disc?

Quality is definitely Disney. However, they don't release enough BDs at the moment.
