The Hitcher (1986) - Blu-ray Forum

This is my favorite film from the 80's. I remember seeing it on TV back when I was 8 years old. I managed to get it on DVD about two years ago at Suncoast for $6 brand new. The DVD print isn't that great but for $6 it's ok. I want this one on Blu-Ray.

I'd say Europe's most likely to get an issue of this on blu as the US DVD was a vanilla edition by HBO while Germany and Britain had impressive double disc sets by Kinowelt and Momentum respectively. Its really annoying that Eric Red's Cohen & Tate hasn't even had a DVD release

HBO can't even be bothered to have an hd version on their own channel, they use a terrible upconvert. I agree I doubt we'll see it in the U.S. any time soon.
