I'm really hoping this ends up being region free. I love this film, and I really want to add it to my Blu-ray library.

Bumped from a long time ago but I'm sure there are others interested in knowing when it'll eventually receive a release.

Did all other worldwide releases of this turn out to be region free? The listings on this site indicate otherwise but perhaps just never got updated.

The Australian has been confirmed region free on this site so i'm guessing that Sony will be releasing region free in all countries.

The German, Spanish and Italian releases are untested at the moment but the back covers have been uploaded on this site and they all have the region a,b,c logo.

Ah, good call on checking the backs, that had not occurred to me.

Pretty solid evidence for a region-free release all around I'd say.
