Watched it last night for the first time in forever.

Tom Hanks gives one hell of a performance, as did Denzel. Its also so screwed up that there was a time when stuff like that happened to people, and I am sure it still does in some places not very publicized though. All in all I am very glad I rented it and I have 3 more movies to knock out this weekend...

Have you seen the other three movies from your list? If not, you're in for a real treat.

Philadelphia is a great movie. The ending gets me everytime.

Its a good movie but I don't think I can watch it again. Not really my type of movie.

+1 Extremely interesting as I have 2 degrees in Psych. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that it's based on a true story.

quite easily one of crowes best performances, bested only by gladiator inho. beautfiul mind really is a great movie! when i first watched it i had no idea what it was about, and like you say, it blew my mind that it was based on a true story

indeed. He was pretty good in Body of Lies as well, but nowhere comparable to his performance in A Beautiful Mind

It's a good movie but imo it's not worth it to own....sad story.

No I have not seen the other 3! I am so excited because usually I get a bunch of stuff I have seen before and just want to watch again.

Awesome, my dvd I rented of A Beautiful Mind crashed on the 16th chapter, there are 20 chapters!

I am so mad at this

guess I go to my next movie

Wow got done with Chaplin last night, and I loved it. Downey Jr was superb in his role, and I am going to go and try to pick up some actual Chaplin stuff here in a minute. I would really like to see The Great Dictator.
