Default Good center to put with Klipsch fronts?

I recently gave up on the idea of upgrading my receiver and decided to wait for just the "right one." Instead I think I would like to invest in a "beefier" center channel. I haven't seen anything in the Klispch lines that I think I want... and there really aren't any listening rooms in my city.

Do you guys have any recomendations on a center that might be a good match for the fronts listed in my sig? It's going to be a few years before I can upgrade my fronts... so matching is a big concern. Budget is about $500-600 I guess; but has wriggle room if there's something AWESOME I need.... LOL

The only bigger, beefier speaker that you could put with your F-2's and call a match is the C-3. However, it's been discontinued by Klipsch, and may be difficult to find. I would suggest keeping an eye on Audiogon and Ebay for one. I think it should fall within your budget if you're lucky enough to find one. Good luck.

It doesn't have to be an exact tonal match I don't think... just something that's not going to sound out of place.

Oh... and size isn't an issue guys. I can alter my stand to accomodate almost anything.

I searched Ebay before I posted above and couldn't find any. Could you post a link please? I saw a couple of speakers listed as Synergy III, but they both were C-2 models.

Heres the link to Sandmans suggestion.

If you can visit Klipsch.com , the forum section will offer some info specifically dedicated to Klipsch.

I found it on ebay.... but do you know how it sounds? How would you describe the sound? It sucks not having any place to audition speakers!

Assuming it's not from too-far back in the line, I would assume that you could go off of reviews. You already know you like the brand and overall sound, so it would be more of a "safe" gamble. I'd be most concerned about the 7/10 rating he gave the cabinet. It must be pretty banged up.
