Default Best computer animated movie on Blu-Ray

In terms of transfer quality. Ice Age 2? Over the Hedge? Open Season?

Or Chicken Little? How´s Corpse Bride btw?

Cool

Is Over The Hedge on Blu-ray yet? I haven't seen any on blu-ray yet(except Dinosaur), but praising reviews and word of mouth state that Open Season is the cat's patoot!

AFAIK Over the Hedge is not out on Blu-ray yet. Since I don't have Chicken Little I'd say Open Season. But a lot of people around here would probably vote for CL.

edit: you beat me to it ;-)

The best one I have so far in animation, is Ant Bully. Once you get into the "bug's" world, the shades of colors as well as textures are frickin' amazing. The initial scenes in the kid's grown-up world I find a little on the light side in terms of brightness but once you adjust for that and you get into that micro world... wow!!!

The only computer animation movie I own on Blu-ray is Happy Feet. I think it has good PQ and SQ, but like I said I don't have another computer animation movie to compare it too. How's Dinsey's Dinosaur?

Chicken Little has the best PQ, but Open Season was good too. Well, to be honest, I think all the animated titles I have look good: The Wild, Ice Age II, Corpse's Bride, Happy Feet, & Monster House.

Corpse Bride, open Season and Chicken Little are pretty much perfect. Ice Age 2: The Meltdown is very good as is Monster House. Happy Feet is good too yet the worst of the bunch.

In general, the animated titles are excellent.

I have it. PQ is excellent 1.85:1 aspect full screen, and lush colors. The dino's skin is so detailed!! SQ also good- the meteor shower rattled the shot glasses off my bar at the other end of my basement!

Dinosaur was my latest animation purchase, after Chicken Little, Monster House, The Wild, Corpse Bride, Ant Bully, Open Season, Happy Feet and Ice Age 2. I must say that Dinosaur, unfortunately, was the "worst" of the above titles. I'm not saying it's bad, but it just pales in comparison (literally) to the more recent titles. I ignored the "bad" PQ reviews from some sites, but now I know what they were talking about.

If you have a toddler like I do, I think Chicken Little will get the most viewing. But in terms of PQ, I'm split between Chicken Little and Corpse Bride, and maybe Open Season as well. That's just my opinion, of course.
