Ok, so I finally got the chance to check my Criterions on the List.
This is what I've Got: "8 1/2": IFPI LB42 "Che Part 1": IFPI LB42 "Che Part 2": IFPI L021 "Days of Heaven": IFPI LB42 "Kagemusha": IFPI L021 "The Seventh Seal": IFPI L021 "Stagecoach": IFPI L021 "Yojimbo" & "Sanjuro": IFPI LB42 At the moment, I don't currently see any bronzing... But does my Discs having those IFPI's mean I should be worried? ![]() |

I hope they do an updated list with Last Year At Marienbad on it soon. My copy is fine for now, but it's from the bad pressing plant - that's my #1 favorite movie of all time, so I really want to make sure I have a copy that will last. |

Those are all from the affected batches, so I'd just be sure to check them every now and then. Whether visually inspecting the disc and/or playing them. |

However...you shouldn't just assume that if there's no bronzing that they are OK. All but one of the titles in my collection with those codes are still fine (no bronzing, no playback errors, no errors from sector and file scans). The one that isn't (Kagemusha) shows no sign of bronzing, but has playback errors, as well as racking up a serious number of sector scan errors. Anyway, there are certainly no guarantees. So you should probably keep an eye on them. There's no reason to think that Criterion won't replace them a year or more from now if they later show problems. |

![]() Does it all just come down to luck, whether or not they actually respond? Should I use a certain subject that'll grab their attention? |

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have 8 1/2, M, and The Seventh Seal, but I can't seem to find the suspect IFPI codes.
The codes for the copies I have are: 8 1/2: L324 M: L324 The Seventh Seal: L323 And, I'm also colorblind, so I can't quite tell whether or not the discs are bronzing. Can anyone let me know if these are the bad codes? |

@worm & mande:
Would it be getting flagged as spam for some reason? Even my gmail address sometimes gets shifted to the spam folder of people's inboxes, depending on the client they're using. My subject line read: "Summer Hours blu-ray". I'm going to send off an email about my futzy Gomorrah tonight, see what they say about it. I know people have had luck with other non-listed titles, but has anyone inquired about Gomorrah specifically? |
