Over rated films!!! - Blu-ray Forum

I finally watched (There will be blood). So many people i work with talked about it and most people had alot of good things to say about the movie. I almost picked it up about 4 times or more, but kept waiting then i finally rented it from blockbuster. Wow i hated the movie, yes danial Day lewis was good in the movie, but the best lead acting last year thats hard to believe there had to be better then that...I just though it was an annoying film i hated Danial day lewis character and i know your suspose to but still. I had a hard time watching the scenes with the prist in them.. I just really hated the film...No country for old men kills that movie soo many times over in every sense of movie making...So my question to u all tell us all more over rated films...or please explain to me why u found there will be blood a good movie??? thanks

TWBB was awesome, i do agree with you that No Country was the better movie though.

Why did I like TWBB, it mixed the evils that crop up in business and religion and spun them all together. Please not, Im not saying that business and relgion are evil, they are good IMO, but evil and manipulators will happen in them.

It was awesome watching this greedy oil tycoon clash with a false prophet over the power of a community.

hey i like how over rated looks as two words..who cares..u must care sorry to upset u...this isn't english class!! and do i care if there is another thread? i'm sure in these forums that there hasn't been two of the same thing before wow again sorry to upset you...oh no!!....why not just tell me an overrated film or not i don't care.

well yes i see your points totally. But the movie and characters i just didn't care about, i wish i did but like i said i hated them.

how could you not hate them??? They were awful people in there own respective ways. But thats what made the movie so awesome.

T2..Everyone says it's the best. I think it's a great movie but the worst of the 3. I'd say 1 for being original, then 3, then 2. I think the new one could be the best of all. I've been waiting for the movies set in the futures for ever.

for me... if there is no one to like in a film... then the film becomes awful... I can respect TWBB... but I hated it too. A waste of my time. The characters were supposed to be despicable. I get it. I understand the movie, but if I have no one to root for, then I couldn't care less who wins... Great they're both jerks... I would have loved if the twin would have come back and murdered both of them.... that would have been a sick-ass ending... I hated the ending... worthless... The best part was that it ended. I wish I could have had that 2 1/2 hrs back.

yes but i understand your suspose to hate them. but i just hated them so much i didn't want to watch them....i like what the movie was about, it just didn't hook me into the story and characters at all...i felt like i had to force my self not to turn off the movie..I think more then anything its cause there was soo much hype and talk about this movie and when i finally saw it i was going to be let down no matter what...It happend with The green mile which i like, but everyone said soo many amazing things and i finally saw it and i was let down. oh well what can u do.

2001.... oh my god... I could have left and gone to the store and come in with the milk and nothing would have changed.... I mean I'm glad I witnessed it... but I never have to see it again... once is enough...

yeah... the hype hurt it a lot for me too... I wish I could have seen it without knowing anything about it... I too had to stop myself from turning it off... I just kept hoping it would get better... and it never did....

T-3 the story was alot like the second one..I though T-3 was one of the worst movies ever made...come on now please tell me your kidding..T-2 is overrated yes i agree and the first one is underrated in my mind...But the third one like i said from day one they should have made when the war in the future was happening between man and machine...cause after watching the third movie your like why did they waste the time and make this movie when it was alot like the second one and there is no stopping the war from happening..u have the money and skills to make the third one in the future and it would have been amazing...
