Far Cry 4

Played a little last night.
Threw some bait into a group of 3 guys and a bear started attacking them.
They emptied their guns but the bear still got em all.
As soon as the bear killed the last guy, I fired 1 bullet into its head. Dead!
Found that funny.


Tried to unleash the snow leopard on the guards early in the game.
Busted open its cage but my plan backfired because it attacked and killed me. Found that funny too!

First off, you can get the wing suit fairly early. I'm not sure when I unlocked it or if it was locked in the first place, but I purchased it with only 3 bell towers and about 5 campaign missions completed. You can buy it at any store and costs 25k.

As for my experiences with it, it's been a great tool. It works best when detaching from a Hang Glider. You can jump from cliffs but the wing suit drops much quicker and does get the distance as the Glider. If you want to see the wingsuit in action check out Giant Bomb's Quick look.

Played a couple hours last night and had a lot of fun. Killed my first honey badger. They seem to spawn randomly. I was hunting for wolves and fortunately, I spotted him in front of me right away. He charged me (cuz "honey badger don't give a f%$!") and I mowed him down with my AK. Took about a half a clip.

I came upon a friendly base that was fighting a rhino. He had killed most of the people, and I started chucking 'nades at him. Two direct hits with grenades and then he charged me. I figured I was dead, but after emptying my AK clip into him, he fell right at my feet.

Man within 5 minutes of getting to finally go and explore I ran into a Honey Badger and stupid me thought I could take it with my bow. It did not end well. If you need to find more there is a spot that is supposed to have another animal in it that the Honey Badgers seem to consistently spawn in. I forget exactly what animal but it is the second closet out to the east of the main town that you start at.

haha! That sounds about right! According to the National Geographic documentary, they're very difficult to kill with arrows or spears since their skin is so tough. Best way to kill them is a hard blow to the head or use a gun.

I started paying this afternoon and I am having a blast so far. The one thing I am not 100% liking is how you are a god right from the start. It isn't a game killer but compared to Far Cry 3 I don't feel like I am really having to learn anything to kill people.

I have already upgraded several things because I keep getting distracted while walking around. No animal is safe when it is in my vicinity, especially when it is one that I need for upgrading something. This is pretty much the same thing I did with part 3. I actually had to continue the story because I had nothing else to do side mission wise. It looks like they worked on that aspect a little with part 4 by looking at the weapons because you can't purchase some of them until you do certain things.

How the heck am I supposed to kill the freaking devil fish in this game. Sharks were easy in Far Cry 3 but it seems like the devil fish never surface.

I normally just tag them and then shoot at them with my rifle until the tag disappears, then hop in the water and skin them.

I just got in a boat along the bank. Tag them then used a machine gun.

Thanks guys I didn't realize you could tag them since they are underwater. I thought you needed a clear line of sight to tag. I'll give it a shot tonight.

I have been doing the same thing.

Right now I have been running around with the upgraded bow and love it. Nothing like going into an area and killing everyone without being detected.

I have to switch to the bow for the outposts. The last 2 I got spotted, but still took it over with the mercenary you call in. I've been hunting and crafting quite a bit too.

It's a quest you'll get later on in the game, from the same CIA agent that was in FC3.

Does anyone know how to get the auto cross bow? i unlocked the arena and tried to do a hunting missoin that said the cross bow should be near but i can't find it anywhere. just the ammo stash
