What would be even funnier is if that happened, and a bunch of fangirls/boys started crying for real and throwing a tantrum in front of their embarrassed parents. I am going to see this tomorrow after work (pending if I can get a ticket and a decent seat). Totally stoked!

Won't just be small kids doing that. Do you have reserved seating? My theater is you just go in and sit where ever you want.

it officially begins in 1 hour and 15 mins on the east coast that showings start!

Sad but true.

I don't go to the reserved seating theater due to their building codes (and they have those new reclining seats). They have a partition between each row of seats. I am a tall guy, and no matter how high up I sit in the seat, that glass partition is obstructing the screen just a smidge. It has the effect of a prism with light passing through it, very annoying. I have only been to that theater once, so I go to the ghetto AMC farther away.

I got to a Regal Cinemas. I'll be seeing it in RPX. They just put that theater in a few months ago. And was waiting for this to come out and see a movie in it.

Saw it earlier today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although I thought the book was the weakest of the three, it was still an enjoyable read and I could understand why they chose to make it a two-parter. But this is one of those rare occasions where I found the adaptation to be far superior than its source material. Completely different from the first two but all the better for it, as it ultimately avoids repetition and feels like a more unique and fresh experience. It takes a good 40 minutes to really get going though, but once it does, it's gripping, intense and engrossing, and ends with a terrific final scene that perfectly sets the scene for the next part. For me, Part 2 cannot come quickly enough now.

Jennifer and I like to be alone when we watch a movie together. We don't like people to stare at us when we're locking lips.

14 hours and 4 minutes away from seeing this, definitely starting to get pumped up for it.

Yes, I agree completely. Lawrence used the novel as a template and just left it in the dust. It was outstanding! If u had told me I like it this much considering I wasnt even sure I was going. What a surprise. Now of course u probably need to b a fan of the book series to buy into it as much as I did but this was an amazing adaptation.

Good to hear about these reviews.

I'm re-watching the first one right now. I'm up to the part where Katniss is in the tree on the first night of the games.

I stopped the movie to get something to drink. And figure i pop in here real quick and see what those who saw it tonight are saying.

Wow, Lawrence was the best thing that could have happened to this franchise. THG:CF was such a monumental improvement on its predecessor. While this one, for me, never quite reaches the thrilling highs of CF, it is absolutely exciting, engaging, and about as much as I could hope for in a film which for all intents and purposes is spinning its wheels, moving all the pieces into place for the grand finale. I gave it the highest possible 4 out of 5. Loved it.
