The little teaser was cool, can't wait for the trailer premiere. Still can't get over that there's a new Jurassic Park on the way.

With a $150 million budget (twice as JP3 which was only $95 million) this is bound to have great looking CGI.

Something more to look forward to this coming Thursday.

Plus I'm sure those saying graphic look bad. They still have a way til the film comes out.

You can have your dinner. Then later on feast your eyes on the trailer.

You realize that $95M million was for effects 20 years ago, right?

Personally, I'd prefer great-looking matte-work and miniatures that provide an actual sense of tangibility... over great-looking CGI.

But yes, we can hope. Maybe $150 million doesn't go as far as it used to, though.

My bad, but still...with inflation the difference isn't all that great.

Star Trek 2009's budget was $150 million. No excuses.

Oh my god, the CG in this looks like shit. Can someone tell me why the CG in the original and T2 are still unbeatable.

I'm still skeptical about this, mainly because the third was so bad. Its also been over a decade since then, and they seem to be retreading the first film's story.

I'm not worried about the CGI of a film that doesn't come out for another 7 months. Plenty of time to get it all worked out.

This teaser has me pumped though!

It helps that they're a subsidiary of Universal now.

Yup. It used to be Warner Bros deal only. Glad they are now producing for Universal.

CG (at least the gate scene) isnt hyper real intentionally. Theres no way it looks like that if the director/studio dont want it to.

What worries me is some of the sci-fi looked cheap. The control room looked very B-movie. All the blue tint is awful. And its pretty alarming I've only seen about 2 seconds of some main characters in motion and they both look so one dimensional.

Its just a very short teaser so I could be completely wrong
