I wasn't upset. The T-rex got 2 movies to show off, and that fight with Spinosaurus was awesome! Hope there is another face off of some kind in Jurassic World. It made the new dinosaur Spinosaurus, the main threat of the movie, look more dangerous. That said, I hope we at least get one scene with T-rex in this new movie.

Overall, the trailer looked fine. In a way it's exciting, but also fairly typical and nothing new. I'm definitely looking forward to more dinosaurs though, that Mosasaur looked incredible! That moment exactly as described months ago in leaked details.

Why did they go and engineer a super monster dinosaur??? Because toy makers wanted clear rights to the dinosaur toys

oMG! I watched the trailer like 3 times in a row, and when the piano version of the JP theme starts up. I'm not gonna lie. I got a bit teary eyed!

I was already anticipating this next year. Now it's in my top 5 must see!

It is, and that's part of why I'm not really a fan of it being used to feed the Mosasaurus here. Of course, like others have mentioned, it's possible they'll be breeding sharks on the island. I kinda hope it's touched on in the film even if shortly. Even if there's an explanation though, I still don't really enjoy seeing such a majestic animal, an apex predator, dangling upside down and being used as bait. It feels undignified. But then, maybe I'm supposed to feel that way? Man handling nature without care, and at times without respect, is a big theme in these movies after all.

Spinosaurus won't be in this movie, so there won't be any kind of "rematch". T. rex is in though (the logo alone makes that obvious), and I do have a feeling we could see a T. rex vs. I. rex fight. I wouldn't be surprised if that's how the I. rex is killed at the end.

I was actually impressed by the trailer, which surprised me. This will probably be on par with "The Lost World", which would help erase the third film from my mind.

I got a buzz from the piano tune too. It's not looking like anything particularly different - the kid from Iron Man 3 even has the same hairstyle - but having someone actually team up with 'trained' dinos to fight a newer, nastier breed could go over like gangbusters or suck major donkey balls.

Hopefully it'll get a proper 15/70 IMAX outing, I'll be there for that in any case.

Absolutely loved the trailer, although I have some concerns.

1. I'm not sure I'm ready for domesticated raptors...

2. I truly hope that we don't get to see much of the main dino. I want to be shocked when she appears in the movie, and hopefully they have a great build up for her.

3. I don't like how close this movie is to the first Jurassic Park. It's essentially the same formula. And I know that once this movie is over, no more park. Unless they do something about it, but I honestly, can't see people going to park that once had a loose dinosaur.

Also, side not, I'm so glad they fixed the arabic writing in the movie.

Yeah, but there's an even more obvious subtext to it: one of the planet's deadliest predators is reduced to mere bait compared to the big dogs that used to inhabit the Earth. It's also an in-joke aimed at Jaws which was also made by that Spielberg fella.

No, it's the same raptor.

Of course, I realize that's the real life explanation, and I know it's just an action/sci-fi movie, but still. I want an in-universe explanation for how they feel it's justified to casually use a large, endangered predator to feed one of their attractions.

I wanted to see the Carcharodon megalodon, the ancestor of the great white shark, in one of these films. For a long time, Steve Alten's "Meg" has been in development hell, and continues to be talked about. But, I'm disappointed that the megalodon hasn't made it into any of the Jurassic Park films.

I got bored that they kept the formula of a small bunch of people on a mostly deserted island running from dinosaurs going for three films. But a fully function park full of visitors is a different prospect. That's different from the original, where the park never managed to open. I hope this will be a full on disaster film with panicked crowds and plenty of prey for the critters.

I think Chris Pratt's character sprays himself with Jurassic World aftershave from the visitors gift shop. It repels ladies but make raptors helpless to your commands ... at least he wasn't riding one with a cowboy hat on.

Looks great but the opening to the resort looks awful. I hope that's just an early version. It reminded me of Eddie Valiant going through the tunnel to Toontown. Is it supposed to be another dimension?

It looks like it could be fun, although for some reason I wasn't blown away like I thought I would be. Something just seemed off about it. The CGI also felt a little rushed, but this is only a teaser so I'm not too worried about that.

The thing that worries me is the plot. It makes no sense to me they would need to create a new breed of dinosaur, other then for the merchandise issues mentioned above. So people seeing dinosaurs brought to life isn't enough anymore, they need some new hybrid to excite people? What!? I've never went to a zoo and said, "Seeing a tiger and elephant is nice and all, but I'll only come back is I can see a tiger/ elephant hybrid". Makes no sense to me. I would rather they just introduced some new dinosaurs we haven't seen on screen yet and threw them in an interesting and gripping story myself. Hopefully the new hybrid thing doesn't look too ridiculous and take you out of the film. I know cloned dinosaurs aren't realistic as it is, but I think seeing some weird hybrid could really bring it into fantasy material.

While I understand that desire as it's an awesome animal, I think megalodon would be out of place in the Jurassic Park franchise personally. It didn't exist until tens of millions of years after the dinosaurs went extinct, plus it's a fish, not a dinosaur or reptile.
