I'll be one happy camper if I can get my helm tonight. That would mean I would be level 30 for the hard raid on Saturday.

I would be even happier still if I can get a better primary. Come on Xur, have a Black Friday sale.

My first hard mode raid with warlock number 1 got a helmet and a mythoclast from Atheon. I have yet to get any armor in hard mode other than gloves I already have for titan. Now, last night with some friends of JJ who had a hard mode Atheon checkpoint, my second warlock got two helmets, so now I have three warlock helmets. I'll probably trash one. One has high discipline, one has high intellect, and the other has a strength stat, that I don't care for. Remember, you also have a chance to get the other piece you need, chest piece, right?

What you and Ric could do is try to get some oracle checkpoints from forum members. Because the oracle/templar sections of the raid are trivial and yield the other armor pieces. I would have offered them to you, but I've never had that checkpoint. Only Atheon, which is the hardest part to finish, and which we tried with near success. I wish we had more time then to finish it. You might try LFG and list yourself for the oracles, too. It can be hard now to get in a group at level 29, but I did last week with the titan. As long as you have maxed VOC's and IB's, you can probably find one. If you have time this evening, I can list my level 30 and mention I have two 29s with maxed weapons that need to come along.

Yeah. Tried Heroic solo. All the enemies are bullet sponges and aggressive. Not worth it.


Now, I have this story. Some guys invited me to Nightfall tonight. Described a scenario that before inviting me someone killed the shrieker. I related that I had the same experience the day before. I'm naming no names.
