The fact the teaser was awesome and they didnt even have to show any of the old cast is a good sign i feel.

Like I said, I hope the movie explains a lot of my questions. For example, why are there even storm troopers? Why make that lightsaber have two small red "guards" other than "because we can" (it looks stupid). Why are the Xwings and Falcon flying 2 feet off the water/ground other than "because it looks cool". With the Emperor and Vader wiped out, and the "rule of 2"...how is there what looks to be another Sith? Why is there a guy in a stormtrooper suit that looks nothing like the original clones? When was the last time you saw a stormtrooper with his helmet off? If you are going to use the original cast, why not show at least one of them in the teaser.

I certainly understand people's excitement because it's Star Wars, and I am happy another movie is coming. However, this teaser didn't do much to allay some of my fears about where this whole thing is going. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

Boo boo. First off, the empire would not dissolve over night. If Obama died the troops would not pack up and come home. The empire was voted by a council so it would be a long process.

Second, all storm troopers are not clones. People are free to join.

Third, pilots often fly low when trying to sneak under radar (also that scene is cool)

The new saber having hilt guards is not for look, they exist on swords for a reason so...

One of the greatest original cast members is in it... The falcon baby!

The Sith is a way of life. Like being good or evil. Anyone can find it at any time and the synopsis talks about a man obsessed with reviving the Sith.

Why does everyone assume Boyega is a storm trooper? Maybe he's wearing the uniform to sneak in somewhere, kinda like Han and Luke in ANH.

As I said, my intel says it is Driver. Also why do people keep saying its Benedict's voice. Imdb does not even have him as a cast member??

That teaser looks great. I'm excited about Star Wars being in the hands of a capable director.

Was that guy with the lightsaber actually outside? And Were those stormtroopers in actual costume? Already looks better than 1-3.

Sure, but it doesn't have to be wall-to-wall oldies in the full trailers. I'd love it if they did a trailer which still had all the younger stars and had a reveal right at the very end of Luke. That'd be awesome.

And I just remembered, Boyega being in a stormtrooper outfit is yet another confirmation of something featured in the leaked plot spoilers. So much for this supposed misinformation campaign.

I don't understand why people think this is dumb. It's hand to hand combat with swords. Nearly every sword throughout the ages has hand guards on them. It's completely practical that they are made from "light" If not, the other saber would cut right through them and into your hand. Makes sense to me.

He's friends with JJ and anyone can narrate a trailer without being in the movie itself. With all the speculation a while back that he was cast in the movie, maybe JJ just asked him to voice over here?

But a guard is pretty useless on that lightsaber design. The blade would cut right through the hilt.

Other than that the trailer was awesome.

People keep saying because it sounds alot like him, not just a little. Wouldnt be that much of a stretch for him to be in it and JJ kept it a secret.

I admit i have only seen Adam driver in one movie and i hardly remember his tone of voice.

If its not benedict it would be a weird choice to pick a tone/style of voice so close to his.

Either way looks awesome
