It's not a problem at an IMAX, but on a TV it just doesn't work. Especially when the complete and utter retards at Warner Bros. give the 35mm segments completely different colour-timing and use EE and DNR. Watching the Dark Knight films on Blu-ray is a horrible experience, I've sold mine.

I can't argue about the 35mm segments having completely different color timing. Personally, the Dark Knight movies on BD don't really bother me in terms of picture quality, but I'd like to see them pay more attention to those segments as well. |

As for the shifting AR, I think its just as powerful in the home than at the cinema, it gives you that extra scope and defines the IMAX footage. If it was all one AR, you would have a harder time figuring out what was shot using the IMAX cameras. But, I know for peeps who have fixed screens (projection setups), it is annoying, and in a perfect world they could include a copy with and without the shifting AR to please all. |

On a 4K Blu-Ray pls....or until then include 4K download vouchers or 2-4 BD-data discs with the 4k version for pc to rip. So yeah in a perfect world they'd make a 8 Disc Set Disc 1: OAR Disc 2: 16:9 Disc 3: Scope Disc 4-7: 4K computer file Disc 8: Special Features ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by hajiketobu; 11-30-2014 at 11:10 PM. |

![]() Although maintaining the OAR of the IMAX shot footage would only please the hardcore purist, I would settle for 1.78:1 IMAX footage and 2.35:1 for scope footage on one disc and 2:35:1 constant AR on a second disc. With a third disc dedicated to extras. |

I just want to say that the synopsis of this movie, on this site, in regards to the BD release, is BS. Einstein was never able to prove this? Bull$&$t. That is exactly what the second Theory of Relativity, known as the General Theory of Relativity addressed.
