I'm not a big fan of the 360 but Fable 2 looks fun and is a definite buy for me. The FF13 news sucks... But it doesn't apply to Verses just the Main title. Which isn't much but it's something... I just hope we don't get the shaft since the xbox is an inferior system...

I know people can love whatever they want to love.

But what I don't understand is that this is clearly the Blu-ray Games and PS3 section. Expect alot of pro-PS3 comments around, it's normal.

Sometime, it's hard to stand between the line of a Fan-boy and a gamer.

Especially in this damn age.

I don't see a problem with the 360 getting FF13! FF series was a great thing for the PS, but more games are coming out that a new fanbase will arrive. MS is a little too late to get FF13 and SE knows this. They are taking care of business and getting what they can out of it. I think 360 fans will stay with Fable 2 more than go with FF13. Most 360 users are not familiar with FF series and with that will sway away from it all together. I am sure it will be sold, but not what MS expects from the deal.

It's already too late, that's why FF13 is still exclusive in Japan. Since the 360 is pretty much dead there.

The majority of 360 owners in the US probably wouldn't care much for FF13 anyways, Square knows this
but they're hoping to get a few good chunk out of the deal. Knowing full well it'll hurt their PS fans.

Yep already too late, not sure if it will hurt the PS fans since they can still get FF13.

No. It'll be in Japan PS3 only then a close-to-simultaneous release worldwide, which means Square has to stop and take the time to whip out a 360 version before NA/Europe/Australia etc. will ever see it, even on PS3.

Cuz we all know it takes additional time to burn FF13 on the 3-4 DVDs versus the one Blu-Ray disc. Darn you Microsoft for me having to wait for my PS3 version, darn you!

Yeah. Looks like it will not be dumbed down on the PS3 in any way... and should look amazing. BUT at the cost of having to wait for the 360 version to be finished. I hope they get cracking on that NOW and work fast so we don't have to wait too long.

(Honestly I hope this is a crappy port over like all the ports we have been getting

Wouldn't it be funny if MS paid to have the xbox version be exactly the same as the English PS3 version, so they dumbed down the English PS3 version? That would mean the Japanese version would be superior...time for me to get that Rosetta Stone. j/k this is highly unlikely. I don't see how the xbox version will be dumbed down in any way. The only negative I can think of is the storage space on DVD. To this day I dont see how the PS3 (for video games) is vastly superior to the xbox 360, just the storage space of bluray and the ability to install to the HD.

Also, I'll let it be known that I thought the Halo series was bland. Gears of War looked pretty, but was too short for my taste, and the online was unimpressive (as far as I can remember there was a maximum of only 8 plyrs for online, this is where Resistance got my vote, the online experience). Maybe I'm getting too old for games. The only games that get the time of day are the ones that I can play online...I've played GTAIV for a good 5 hours before it started to collect dust. Same thing with Metal Gear Solid 4 (didn't like the multiplayer that much for MGS4 or GTAIV). The only game I play still is COD4, becuase of the decent multiplayer.

Not really any different from when Rockstar had to delay GTAIV because they were having problems developing on the PS3. No one got it until they were both done. They both turned out fine and probably better as a result. More time developing will just give them more time to polish both versions. In the end, who knows, maybe the North American and European versions will be better versions because of it. Only time will tell but there's plenty to tide gamers over in the meantime.

Wow, I didnt realize that MGS4 was 5 or 6 discs on PS3 then, if it would supposedly be 30 or 40 on 360. I must be missing some discs from my case

He was also the guy last night, saying that SQUARE FORCED him to WASTE $600 on a PS3, when he should have just stuck with his 360. Mood swings anyone? In fact, heres his exact quote
