Did you stop to think that A) the BD is using a different codec AVC/Mpeg4 and B) the BD is also only using a 640kbps DD soundtrack? The HD DVD is using a DD+ soundtrack at 1.5Mb/s which is gobbling up more capacity and bandwidth. So, it all evens out. Don't be so quick to believe the FUD.
