Wasn't it Ray Lewis that said during the Top 100 Players on NFLN a few seasons ago that Tom Brady is the best football player alive?

I like the confidence, but to consider Rex's stint with the Bills more successful then he has to take them to the Big Dance.

Rex is getting over $5 mil/year. He can probably afford to buy tickets for everyone on the team, but will he want to?

He's a terrible analyst (Lewis). Counting the days until he's fired.

Yeah Lewis is really dragging Young down let's add manning and kick Lewis off.

If Manning gets into broadcasting when he's retired I doubt he joins ESPN. If he goes to Fox, NBC, or CBS he only has to work one day a week and only during the season. ESPN expects their employees to work multiple days per week and to do some analysis during the offseason.

Report I read said they're looking at Trestman and Mike Smith

Del Rio could help Smith..if Trestman could get Carr going that team might be a little better than worst in the league

-

The Jaguars interviewed ex-Bills coach Doug Marrone for their offensive-coordinator vacancy on Wednesday.
Quote:
It's appearing less likely that Marrone is going to get another head-coaching gig this offseason, so he's making the rounds for other positions. There's also a possibility Marrone was interviewing for the Jaguars' OL coach job, as incumbent George Yarno missed the 2014 season with cancer. Marrone has an extensive OL and TEs coaching background and was the Saints' OC from 2006-2008.

No. If he was constantly in the AFC champ game or around it rather then just a two year span..that's more successful in my book. If he takes them to the playoffs 5 years in a row...that's more success regardless of how far they go because he could never do it with the jets. Jets got lucky for 2 years...and that was it

With no QB..i would wait on that. Maybe if you get a QB and after Brady retires. But them you have to deal with Jimmy G or Edleman

You will be more successful with ryan then ryan was with the jets just due to the talent level. He will take you the to the playoffs for a few years i think...i think any coach would because they have a good D but need a QB bad

Yay! Get ready for the 3rd and long draw play. You'll be seeing a lot of it. Hope you got a good punter as well. 4th and inches....bring on the punt team!

Interesting:

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
49ers set to promote DL coach Jim Tomsula to head coach, per sources. Still ironing out details, but Tomsula expected to be 49ers next HC.
Tomsula has been with the 49ers since 2007 and served as their interim coach for a game when Mike Singletary was fired. Pretty underwhelming hire though that won't energize the fan base.

Curious to see who his assistants will be, cant say I like or dislike the move, not until we see if the team improves. Guess only time will tell.

Now onto the draft, with Mariotta declaring, if he and Winston go #1 & #2, that leaves us with two great choices. WR Amari Cooper or DE/DT Leonard Williams

I highly doubt they go 1-2. At least one of them if not both slide a bit.

BORING!!!!!!!!!

So when they suck again they can only blame themselves. Stupid. Letting go the best coach they had since Walsh.
