YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME....corey feldman, and corey haim? These two idiots trashed their reputations by slamming directors, and studios, and their extremely famous (actor/actresses) friends. They were wasted on and off of the sets. They badmouthed everyone that gave them their big brakes in hollywood.(all of their bridges are STILL burning to this day!).....They had to start a reality show, just to show that they are trying to turn their live's around. they are still completely screwed to this day (Haim, more than feldman, who seems to be more of a real man than haim will ever be. By buying into this whole re-release bull@#@%, will just fuel the fire for them,and make them think that america wants them all over again. They(both) really could'nt even act in the first place! Please stop and think before you all rush out to buy this. Do you really think this old movie is going to look that good on blu-ray anyways> The dvd version looks like crap anyways.

You are correct I hate these idiots. Saw a review over at hidef digest gave it a four or something. Yea, the wife and I are going to pass for sure on this one !!

Do you watch the reality show? They are actually filming The Lost Boys 2 with both Corys having small parts. Feildman does have his crap together. Guy has a big nice house,a young kid and a hot wife. He doesnt want to act anymore,he wants to direct. Haim on the other hand is still screwed up. He is begging for work and on the first day of the LB2 set he forgot all his lines and pissed everybody off. Just like he used to. Pretty sad to watch this guy..

I'd have to say that this is somewhat of a cult hit and, considering they both seem to have managed to climb back into the business again...buying a few DVD's isn't going to hurt anyone. Not that you aren't entitled to your oppinions etc.

edit: checked IMDB...both are either filming or in things in post production as well.

Sorry dude, I like the movie and could care less about them, especially since they were like 15 in the movie and now are like god knows. Yes, they are losers, but who cares. I dont know them personally, do you?

I am only buying the first movie on blu. I dont care about who plays in it. I am doing it for the movie cause I loved it since I was a kid.

I love the Lost Boys film... but i'm trying to collect all of the newer films first before I buy the classics, so Beowulf and Doomsday for me on day one!

I look at this as more of a Kiefer Sutherland flick and a Corey Haim or Feldman flick.

It's hard for me to care about such things especially when it seems like most of the actors/actresses are screwed up or have been at some point. If they are very politically active, they (actors/actresses) may go into a gray area for me but other than that, I don't pay any attention to what they're doing.

Anyway, I like the movie and definitely plan to get it.

Mr. hidef if we took a closer look at the actors true characters, personas if you will, and subscribe to your theory we would all be watching Mary friggin Popins. I happen to like Stand By Me, Goonies, and the all time classic License to Drive, no matter what flaws the actor may have. The two are not mutually exclusive. And do you really think the actors are receiving huge residuals, if any, on a movie filmed in 1987? You are entitled to your opinion however skewed your opinion is, it is pure rubbish.
