This is absolutely ridiculous (in my opinion), but the one film I remember becoming quite emotional over was 'Jack' starring Robin Williams. I remember renting it from the video store, thinking, this will be hilarious; Robin Williams, Bill Cosby...I'm in for an afternoon of laughs! I think I got about ten minutes in before the lump in the throat developed, by the end, I left the room to while some tears.

Can't handle people being an emotional target, and that film was all over it.

Was watching with my son last night & for some reason I lost it around the 8 second mark. Too bad he got scared & we couldn't finish it.
Agreed. For some reason I was only thinking about movies that made me sad but this is a perfect example of the opposite. I'll also admit in the trailer for the new film hearing the original theme slowly played on piano instantly got me getting misty.

I finally saw this over the weekend and completely agree.

Also the Celine Dion song from Titanic always brings me back to a specific time in my life I try to not think about very much. Every time it's on and the song starts, here come the tears.

My Mom took me to that a long time ago and in the scene you posted, the tears were POURING down my face and I was thinking to myself "Don't look at me Mom, DON'T LOOK AT ME!".

I cried in 2012 when the sexy Russian Pilot died. I blabbered for a few minutes. It's always the hot guys that die.

Only movie I remember crying at the end of was (weirdly) Jerry Maguire. Something about marrying your best friend and the earnestness of Crowe's dialog and music just worked for me at 16 or however old I was at the time.

I have teared up to some other stuff, but never really cried, as far as I can remember. Mental illness stuff tends to tear me up easily because of real life experience I don't want to get into.

I guess because I had a dog for 11 years and saw him get old, I'm a stickler for movies where dogs die. So:

Hachi: A Dog's Tale
Marley & Me

Also:
The Lion King
Forrest Gump
Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey
[Show spoiler]Turned from tears of sadness to joy when Shadow came running over the hill at the end

The Green Mile

I tear up at the end of Return of the King every time I watch it. The only two scenes that have ever made me actually cry was the final episode of Dexter when
[Show spoiler]Deb dies. She didn't deserve her fate.
That scene kicked my ass. And Stargate SG-1 when
[Show spoiler]Daniel ascends/dies for the first time. Michael Shanks was leaving the show and you could see and feel his emotion when he says goodbye to Jack.
That got me good too. And still sometimes does.

When I saw Amy recently, I thought it might be the first time I'd cried in a theater. Didn't happen, though maybe my expectations were too high. Her reaction to winning the Grammy presented by her idol, Tony Bennet, had me pretty close, though.

Honestly? I cried during the trailer. So I seriously doubt I'll make it very far into the film.
