How is the PQ of PSN Movies? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm sure Ill find out tonight. Im gonna rent Cloverfield. What are peoples thoughts on the PQ and AQ of the HD movies up there?

SoSo.

I'm not very happy with my experience with regards to the PQ but I'm spoiled.

Actually catching a handful of noise [I don't know how to describe it, sadly] cropping up was disappointing.

I can't say how it compares to other Digital Delivery methods.

Well check that, it's better than Joost. And please stop laughing at me now :P.

I rented Cloverfield and Beowulf (movies I was interested in but hadn't seen yet). I had no problems with the PQ. It did sort of suck not having extras to view like you would on a disc.

How does the rental work? Time limit? Watch it once?

Sorry if there's already a forum 'bout it, couldn't find one. I also looked on the PSN but it's hard to read things on there on my SD TV (Boo-hoo).

Took me forever to download Cloverfield. Like hours. PQ was fine. Not sure how I felt about the Stereo audio.

From time of purchase you have 14 days.

From time of first watching it/loading it/pressing play you got 24 hours.

....and Japan gets three days from time of first watching. Now thats just not right. US should have three days too, who the hell comes up with these ridiculous ideas?

Same here, it took so long to download the HD version of Cloverfield that I said "screw it" and just got the SD version of Beowulf when I decided to download it as well.

I rented two things so far. Both HD, and I thought both looked pretty great.

I rented the HD version of Matrix Revolutions. PQ-wise I thought it looked fine but the sound-quality was a little lacking. The worst part of it was the download time though. It took several hours to complete. Also wasn't a fan of the time limit.
