I don't care about the box at all. I just need to know if they didn't cram 4 episodes plus extras on the last disc.

Why did they even bother reviewing the set if it's only the DVD?

In the review they say you can ask them a question about the set in the comments section. I'm sure he might have info on the blu-ray set as well.

Well they work for HBO and the review does say "and Blu-ray". If anyone is going to know, it's them.

My educated guess is that there will be 3 episodes on 3 discs and 1 on the last disc with all the bonus material. Three episodes is plausible as it comes to almost 15gb per episode. Still great quality as was shown on season 3 box set which had one disc with three episodes.

I also wonder if there's an NDA on when the bluray reviews can be released.

Very good info. Seasons 4 and 5 of Boardwalk Empire were way thinner than the early releases and it was very noticeable.

Can't wait to pick this up in a few weeks! I pre-ordered both the Martell and Tyrell editions from Best Buy because I couldn't decide which one to keep yet.

Hope so too. He says it's much thicker than Season 5 of Boardwalk Empire and when I asked if the spine was more similar to True Blood season 7 or Boardwalk Empire Season 5, he said it was more like True Blood from what he can remember.

True Blood had the sturdy box, so hopefully that's what we're getting.

Yeah, four discs makes perfect sense for a 10 episode show, divided just like you say. If they cram four episodes onto one disc for some reason that's just silly, and has nothing to do with using four discs.

I have no problem with it being 4 discs as long as they don't cram 4 episodes and extras onto the last disc like that old press photo says.

This is really good news. I was worried about the box also. I hope it is not really thin with only 4 discs and no dvds.

Just preordered the Martell version from BBY.com.

Oberyn's impact on the fourth season was without a doubt the most significant, and watching his arc unfold was one of the biggest emotional roller-coasters I've ever felt while watching a television show.

An easy choice for me.

Man still 3 weeks to go to pick this set up. Meanwhile finally started listening to the first audiobook, 9 hrs down only 24 hrs to go. Also been rewatching older episodes. I really love the histories and lore sections of the boxsets.

Went for the UK one with the bonus disc!
Like everyone is saying, I hope this is a sturdy box like the previous releases and that there isn't four episodes on the last disc. I already own the US version of season 1-2, without the "blue band" and the third season from UK so I am definitely looking forward to this.
